The purpose of this course is to develop the skills of the student within the discipline of veterinary echocardiography and cardiology in companion animals. Subjects: intermediate cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and pathology. Basic cardiovascular pharmacotherapy. Workshop in auscultation in companion animals. Workshop in clinical ECG cases. Workshop in clinical thoracic radiology. Workshop in trans-thoracic echocardiography.
